GEBERT-FEIGERT
A lovely spring wedding of marked simplicity was solemnized at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon at the parish of St. Gabriel’s Catholic church, when the Rt. Rev. T. S. Meeker pronounced the nuptial service for Miss Florence M. Feigert and Paul H. Gebert, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Gebert, 1316 Indiana avenue. Only the relatives of the two families witnessed the ceremony which was performed with the single ring service.
The attendants were Mrs. Kathryn Mansil of Indianapolis, sister of the bride, and Arthur Gebert of this city, twin brother of the groom
The bride was beautiful in a gown of aqua marine Elizabeth crepe with charmene coat of the same shade, fur trimmed, and blond satin bait, hose and slippers to match. She wore a corsage bouquet of bride’s roses and lilies of the valley, and a strand of pearl beads, the gift of her attendant. Mrs. Mansil was charming in a navy blue ensemble georgette frock, embroidered in silver and gold, with white hat and stone marten choker and a corsage of sweetheart roses and forget-me-nots.
After the wedding a reception was held at the home of the bride’s sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Walker, 2157 Grand avenue, with whom she has lived since the death of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Feigert
A profusion of spring flowers carried out a pretty color scheme of yellow and white, throughout the rooms and a bridal luncheon was served in appointments of yellow and white.
The couple left late yesterday afternoon on a motor trip through the southern part of the state and after April 20 will be at home in the Miller duplex, 503 Serpentine street, this city.

Newspaper unknown, date unknown reported:
Titusville activist Marie Gebert dies Titusville civic activist and two-time city council candidate Marie M. Gebert died Thursday following heart surgery at Lucerne General Hospital in Orlando. She was 39.
Apparently undaunted by two unsuccessful campaigns for city council in 1978 and 1979, Gebert joined the city's Human Relations Commission and Citizens Advisory Committee and continued her campaign for more recreation for Titusville's young people.
During her 13 years in Titusville, she coached the girls' basketball team at St. Teresa's Catholic School and did volunteer work for the Heart Fund, American Cancer Society and the March of Dimes.
Sister Margaret Mary, principal of the school, said, "She (Gebert) was very interested in young people. She wanted them to have leisure time activities and athletics. She was very athletic herself and that is why is is so extraordinary that she would die of a heart attack at such an early age."
In announcing her intention to run for city council in January 1978, Gebert said she had been working on other candidates' campaigns for 24 years and was ready to become a candidate herself. Her first taste of politics came in 1952 when she campaigned for her father, John Donovan, during his unsuccessful race for the Florida Legislature.
Her opponent in the 1979 campaign, Councilman Don Simmons said the two went into the campaign as strangers and came out as friends.
"I considered her a friend. She conducted herself as a lady," Simmons said. "I consider it a loss to the community because of her active involvement in it."
